Drop Camps

Our drop camps are fully furnished with wall tents, firewood, cots, tables, cooking and kitchen supplies, propane cookers, propane lighting and a shower tent. If you want to enjoy the solitude while elk hunting and prefer a non-guided hunt this might be an option for you to consider. Montana drop camps are an option for those that are comfortable with the elements, terrain, wish to get away and hunt for themselves. Many elk hunters find this as a good option if they only need the assistance of getting in and out. This is a non-guided hunt.

Our Montana drop camps are seven days, which involves half day in , five uninterrupted days of hunting and a half day out. Packer will pack hunters in, explain hunting area and leave a quiet camp (no horses). The packer returns only for harvested game or at the end of the hunt to pack you out.
